PERSONALISE WITH A PAW PRINT

Every step they ever took, carried with you.

WHAT YOU NEED

A paw print pendant carries the impression of a paw pad — rendered permanently in surgical-grade steel from a photograph or scan of an existing ink impression.

A paw print is submitted as a photograph or scan of an existing ink impression. Accepted sources include an ink pad impression on paper taken at home, by a vet, or by a cremation service, and in some cases a clear close-up photograph of the paw pad itself in good light. Most vets and animal cremation services will take a paw print impression at the time of passing — it is worth asking specifically, as many offer this as standard.

✓ ACCEPTED

An ink pad impression on paper with clearly visible pad and toe prints · A clear close-up photograph of the paw pad (contact us first to confirm suitability) · A previously made paw print charm — photograph the surface clearly

✗ NOT ACCEPTED

A smeared or incomplete ink impression where the pad shape is not clear · A photograph of a paw taken from a distance where the pad is not visible · A very dark or overexposed impression where detail is lost · A photograph taken in poor light with strong shadows across the print

How to submit

1 — Photograph or scan the ink impression in natural light — no flash, sharp focus, the pad lines and toe prints clearly visible.

2 — Upload the image in the personalisation field on the product page during checkout.

3 — We review every paw print submission before production. If quality needs attention we contact you before proceeding.

4 — If you do not have an existing impression, contact us before ordering. We will advise on what is possible with what you have.

Common questions

I didn't take a paw print in time.

Contact us before ordering. A clear close-up photograph of the paw pad, or even a photograph taken from an existing photo, can sometimes be used. We assess individually and will always advise before you commit to an order.

The ink impression I have is a bit smeared.

Submit it. We assess every print individually. A partially smeared impression can still produce a meaningful result, and we will always contact you before production if there is a concern.

Can I use a clay or plaster paw print?

At the moment we work from ink impressions only, as these give the clearest, most consistent result for engraving. If you only have a clay or plaster impression, contact us — we will tell you honestly whether it's likely to work or whether an ink impression would serve better.

My vet only offers a paw print on coloured cardstock.

That's fine, as long as the ink contrasts clearly against the card. Photograph it in good, even light and submit it — we'll assess it before production.
