What you need

A fingerprint pendant carries the precise ridge lines of an existing impression — rendered permanently in surgical-grade steel.

A fingerprint is submitted from an existing impression — not taken directly from a finger at the time of ordering. Accepted sources include an ink pad impression taken at the funeral home or cremation service (ask for this specifically — many offer it as standard), an existing ink impression on paper, a previously made fingerprint charm or memorial piece photographed clearly, and for pets an ink or clay paw pad impression taken by a vet or cremation service.

How to submit

1 — Photograph or scan the impression in natural light. No flash. Sharp focus. The ridge lines must be clearly visible.

2 — Upload the image in the personalisation field on the product page during checkout. JPG or PNG, minimum 800px on the shortest side.

3 — We review every submission before production begins. If quality is insufficient we contact you before any charge is confirmed.

4 — If a better file is not available — because the person or pet has passed — we work with you to find the best possible approach. We have never turned away an order because of a difficult file.

Common questions

I don't have an existing impression.

Contact us before ordering. Many funeral homes will take an impression retrospectively if asked. For pets, a clear close-up photograph of the paw pad can sometimes be used — contact us and we will advise before you order.

The impression I have is faint or partial.

Submit it. We assess every image individually and always contact you before production if quality is a concern. A faded or partial impression can still produce a meaningful result.

Can I use a fingerprint from a document or ink stamp?

Only if the ridge lines are clearly visible and not distorted by paper texture. Submit it and we will assess before production.
