What you need

A handwriting pendant carries a real handwritten message or signature, rendered permanently in surgical-grade steel from a scan or photograph of the original.

A photograph or scan of handwriting on white or light paper in dark ink. A single line, a short phrase, or a signature all work well. The original document is not required — a photograph of a card, letter, or note is sufficient. Good lighting and strong contrast between ink and paper give the best result. The writing is rendered as closely as possible to the source — we do not alter the letterforms or style.

How to submit

1 — Find a sample of handwriting on white or light paper — a card, letter, signed document, or note.

2 — Photograph in good natural light or scan at 300dpi minimum. Ensure strong contrast between ink and paper. Avoid flash.

3 — Upload the image in the personalisation field on the product page during checkout.

4 — We render the writing as closely as possible to the original. If any part of the writing is unclear, we contact you before production to confirm intent.

Common questions

The handwriting is on coloured paper or a card.

Photograph it and submit. Increasing contrast in your phone's photo edit settings before uploading helps significantly. We assess the result before production.

I only have a faded old letter.

Photograph it in good light and submit. Faded handwriting often engraves beautifully. We will contact you before production if there is any concern.

The handwriting is very small.

Submit it. We assess legibility at pendant scale before production and will advise if a different sample would give a better result.
